St. Porphyrios Greek Orthodox Church is a parish of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America, Metropolis of Atlanta, serving Jacksonville and the surrounding communities of eastern North Carolina. We are military families, lifelong Orthodox Christians, and people who are just beginning to explore the ancient Christian faith, gathered around the Divine Liturgy, the sacraments, and the life of prayer that the Church has kept for two thousand years.
Whether you were raised Orthodox, are new to the area, or are simply curious, you are welcome here. Come and worship with us on Sunday morning, join us for Vespers on Saturday evening, or reach out with any question. We would love to meet you.

Join us for a festal Divine Liturgy on December 2nd, the feast day of our patron saint. A trapeza (fellowship meal) will follow the service.
Our catechism series meets every Saturday after 5:00 PM Vespers. We currently have active catechumens enrolled and welcome all who are exploring the Faith.
